My first week in Zagreb @natalia

23/11/2017

It has been over one week (but it feels longer) since I got to Zagreb, my new home, that I will stay for one year. EVS program gave an amazing opportunity to grow, meet new people, culture and learn language. I’m more than happy than I can be involved in such a cool project, which is Equality in sport. I work for the Softball Klub Princ with kids in a different age, at different places. The most important thing is that we all enjoy it. Everyone is helpful and speak English ..almost ha. I’ve visited city center few times already. I walked around the city with coffee and some Croatian pastry in my hand. I walked into two museum: Technial Museum Nikola Tesla and Museum Mimara. I took a ride the shortest cable car in the world, that having only 66 meters in length and connecting Tomiceva Street with Upper Town’s Tower Lotrscak. I walked to the famous Kneza Branimara “art” street to see their murals. There is always something to do, so you can’t be bored. The only minus that I noticed so far while I live here, and I don’t like it, is that people smoke inside of the coffee shops, so I can’t enjoy my coffee that much haha, but I guess it’s more important with whom I have this coffee I love being here and can’t wait for more! Softball klub PRINC
