The final tournament of Euroleague took place on Saturday, September 30th 2017 and on Sunday, October 01st 2017.
The first match was played at 10 A.M. on field A by Prince Zagreb and Reds , and it ended with Princes victory. The hungarian girls played well, but the Princesses were still a shade better.
Match after that was played by Princ and Trnava Panthers, but sadely, Princ lost that game. The other teams played as expected , and the ranking result remained the same as before the final
tournament. A Playoff took place on Sunday. Again, Prince played opening match at 10 A.M. on field B against Lady Pirates for 3rd place. Lady Pirates started in offence well, but the Princess good defence started in 2nd inning after Lady Pirates separated by 3 runs. Princesses hit well, so there were lots of great hits. The match was very interesting, and ended with the triumph of Prince with the result 13:3, which brought Prince to semifinals.
At that time, Apollo defeated Trnava and that victory launched Apollo directly into the Finals. The semi finals match started at noon. Prince played against Trnava Panthers. The match was tense
from the beginning. Both teams fought for finals. In the sixth inning the result was 3:2 and Prince was in offence, runners were on the 3rd and 2nd base. In the attempt of winning a run to equalize, sadly, Prince did not succeed. The pitcher and catcher played the play and made out the runner off the third base. In 7th inning, Prince had an offence without winning a point. The Princesses had the last attempt to win 2 points for victory, but failed. So Trnava Panthers entered Finals the result was 3:2.
The Final game was played by Apollo Bratislava vs Trnava Panthers. The 1st place of tournament was well earned and deserved by Apollo. The 2nd place went to Trnava Panthers.
Princesses won the 3rd place.
