Hosting Women’s European Softball Cup 2023 and winning silver medal!


Zagreb, Croatia, made history as the inaugural host city of the European Women’s Softball Cup 2023, marking a significant milestone in the country’s sporting landscape. From the 23rd to the 26th of August, the city buzzed with excitement as it welcomed softball teams, enthusiasts, and supporters from Europe to witness an extraordinary display of athleticism and sportsmanship.

For the first time, Zagreb had the honor of hosting this prestigious tournament, setting the stage to showcase softball talent amidst the city’s picturesque surroundings and welcoming atmosphere. 

The tournament featured top-tier teams from Great Britain, Poland, Bulgaria and Croatia, each vying for the prestigious title of European Women’s Softball Cup champions. Throughout the competition, spectators were treated to a thrilling display of athleticism and sportsmanship as teams fiercely contested each game.

The tournament commenced with a captivating opening ceremony, where teams paraded proudly, adorned with their national colors, symbolizing unity and celebration of the sport. The event’s inauguration set the tone for an exhilarating series of matches that would unfold over the coming days.
