In an exciting final match, Princ Plavi found themselves in a tough spot, trailing 12-0 in the third inning. However, thanks to their incredible mindset and determination, our players started to make a comeback and ultimately won the championship! This turnaround is a testament to the strength, discipline, and unity our players have developed through training and overcoming difficult moments on the field.
Additionally, Princ Žuti achieved an outstanding result by finishing third, which is a major success considering that this year, five teams participated, a first in the history of the competition.
One of the brightest moments of the tournament was the home run hit by 15-year-old Tate Rowe, showing her incredible talent and potential for the future.
We also took home all the awards – Nina Berišić was named the best pitcher, and Mara Sliško was named the best hitter and MVP of the championship! Well done, girls!
Furthermore, our sister club Špansko won 1st place for the first time in the Zagreb Championship, marking a significant achievement for our clubs. It was an incredibly successful day for us, as our junior team also defeated Medvednica. Our coach of the younger age categories, Jurica Vidović, was named the best player.
These results reflect not only the players’ performance but also the hard work, effort, and dedication they put in every day. Princ Plavi and Princ Žuti are proud of their achievements, and this is just the beginning of their sporting success!
