At the heart of every successful international project lies meaningful cooperation, open dialogue, and a shared vision. The IMPACT project embodies all of these values — bringing together partners who believe in the power of sport to inspire, educate, and connect young people. Our recent transnational meeting in Prague was another important step on this journey.
In early November, representatives of all three project partners — Softball Club Joudrs, Softball Club Princ, and the Zagreb Sports Association — gathered in Prague for the latest IMPACT Transnational Meeting.
The purpose of the meeting was to review the progress of the IMPACT project, evaluate completed activities, and plan the next stages of implementation. The partners discussed key achievements reached so far, exchanged experiences from local activities, and reflected on challenges encountered during the mentoring and educational phases of the project.
Special attention was given to the development of mentoring programs aimed at empowering young athletes to take on leadership roles within their clubs. The partners also focused on ensuring the sustainability of the project’s results and on promoting cooperation among young members of the softball community across Europe.
The meeting in Prague provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen the partnership, align future steps, and reaffirm the shared commitment to supporting youth engagement, personal growth, and active participation in sports organizations.
The IMPACT project, co-funded by the European Union, continues to demonstrate how international collaboration can create meaningful opportunities for young people — both on and off the field.
