This summer, so far one of the biggest challenges we have to face is in front of us. It is the European Championship for girls under 16 years (European championship U16) and our club is the organizer of the championship. As club, we are organizers of something like this for the first time, and for the first time the European Championship for cadets is being held in Croatia. The similar event was held in Croatia 2007, the European Championship for Senior Officials, B Pool. So ahead of us is a long and warm summer that will be filled with softball, softball organization and a little bit more softball!
This year, the European Championship U16 will be attended by 14 teams from European countries.
Place of event – Jarun, Ribički prilaz 2.
Time of event – 29.7 – 3.8.2019.
Apart from Croatia, on this tournament there will be participants from Czech Republic, Great Britain, Germany, Russia, Belgium, Hungary, Italy, France, Slovakia, Turkey, the Netherlands, Ukraine and Poland.
The girls from 14 teams all over Europe will fight for one title – the winner of the European Championship U16. Our girls are already on the top of the preparations for the tournament and we hope it will be unforgettable experience for them.
