The Softball Club Princ, that I volunteer at, was organizing the 11th ForEVER Fastpitch friendly Tournament. I’m very happy that I had a chance to be a part of that event, as organizer and as a player too.
The tournament took place on softball grounds on Jarun lake from Friday 06.04. until Sunday 08.04.2018.
We had a record number of teams that came to play, 6 countries 9 teams, such as – Bulgaria, Hungary, Italy, Czech Republic and Sweden. During this 3 days, 25 games were played on two softball fields.We used this Tournament as a warm up before serious games comes to play 🙂
Our team Princ got to the finals, we played against Czech team. The Czech team was loosing 2: 1 but after tense final of the last inning, the czech team won. So ended up being 2nd.

The whole weekend was very tense but we handle everything really well in my opinion.
Over the past weekend we also took part in different event as International Day of Sport for Development and Peace. April6 is the official day of that special day. As athletes we wanted to be a part of that, show that we care and show our involvement about#WhiteCard campaign. We identify with it very deeply since our different project IGETSis about gender equality. So we were more than happy that softball teams from diff countries showed their inclusion, interest and involvement about gender equity, justice, fair treating in sports!!!
