This years Euroleague, fifth in a row, started with a tournament in Kunovice, Czech Republic. The tournament lasted for two days, and a total of 13 games was played between 9 teams.
The trip to the Czech Republic started in the Friday night, and after a long 7 hours drive, we reached our destination.
Our first game of the tournament we played on Saturday against the Hungarian Reds team. We beat them in the 5th inning with a score of 9: 2. That was the only game we had in the day, so we spent the rest of our time hanging out and watching games.
The second day of the tournament, which was the last one, started with preparing for the game against , already well-known opponent, Lady Pirates. We started the match very strongly, so we have scored 7 runs in the first inning, some by our hits, and some by the erors of the rivals. The game went very smoothly and ended in our favour after 6th inning with a score of 11: 2.
As this was our last game of the tournament, the only thing left for us to do, was to pack our things and head to Zagreb and get well-deserved rest, so we can be ready for the game this Sunday, 29th against Lady Pirates.
